Six Arrested in South Carolina Drug Bust

Reports are in that police from across several different law enforcement agencies raided five separate homes in Georgetown County, South Carolina.  Reports indicate that six people were arrested for drug related crimes during the large-scale bust.

Law enforcement agencies with the Georgetown County Organized Crime Bureau, the Drug Enforcement Agency and Customs Enforcement report that they found guns, marijuana and heroin within the homes that they raided.

According to police, the following crimes were committed and arrests were made:

- Gene Nathan Brown was charged with distribution of heroin and conspiracy to distribute heroin.
- Kimberly Brown was charged with distribution of heroin and conspiracy to distribute heroin.
- Tyrell Johnson was charged with possession of heroin and conspiracy to distribute heroin. 
- Tameka Bonds was charged with possession and attempt to distribute heroin near West end Park
- Tyrone Bronson was charged with distribution of heroin and conspiracy to distribute heroin.  Law enforcement claims that they found six bundles of heroin in Mr. Bronson's home.
- Shawn Simmons was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and unlawful possession of a firearm.

All defendants arrested are facing criminal prosecution and may have to spend time in jail if they are convicted.
