Pennsylvania Teacher Accused of Sex Crimes

In Williamsport, Pennsylvania, a 12 year old boy has testified that he was a victim of sex crimes.  The boy claimed that a man who used to teach his gym class forced him to have sex against his will.

The accused offender, James Jamison, used to teach at St. Boniface Elementary in Williamsport.  Jamison claims that he is innocent and denies the allegations.  He was ordered to stand trial after a hearing was conducted this past Wednesday.

According to the young boy, Jamison forced him to have sex several times over the last few years.  He said that the abuse began while he was in first grade.  He also testified that Jamieson had put a knife to his throat when he was in 5th grade and said, "Don't tell anyone or I'll hurt you."

Jamieson's defense lawyer, Matthew Zeigler, says that the boy had previously accused another person.  He said that it is very possible that another individual had assaulted the young man, not his client.

At this time, Jamieson remains in police custody.  He had left his teaching position at St. Boniface for a job in the York City School District, which is in south-central Pennsylvania.
