Convicted Murdered Charged with Robbery of Taxi Company in Boston

Boston, Massachusetts, a 47 year old man by the name of Gerald Hill was recently arrested for armed robbery of a local taxi company.  Hill was arraigned this Tuesday from prison and is reported to be a convicted killer that was recently released from jail.

Aside from charges of armed robbery, Hill has also been charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.  Both are serious felony offenses that could lead to imprisonment if Hill is convicted.

Hill, a Dorchester resident, allegedly stormed into the taxi company along with another suspect.  He then hit one of the company's employees with his firearm before stealing unspecified amounts of cash.

Later, all of the stolen cash was found by police along with the two guns the men used during the robbery.  While Hill was recently arrested and detained, the other suspect has not been found at this time.

Prior to being charged with his recent offense, Hill has served 30 years in prison after he murdered an oil delivery man in Roxbury.  The murder occurred during an infamous Blizzard in 1978.  Hill was released from prison earlier this year.
