Man Charged After Video Was Found in Bathroom

A California man has been arrested after authorities found a camera hidden in the bathroom of the Family Christian Book Store where he works as a clerk.

Joseph David Ramon Moreaux, 28, was arrested and charged with peeping with a recording device. He was also given a citation.

The Simi Valley Police Department was alerted about the camera after a woman noticed it in the restroom.

When officers came to investigate, they found the camera hidden between some boxes in the corner of the bathroom.

The restroom was used for both male and female costumers.

Moreaux unintentionally captured himself on video. The video on the recorder shows Moreaux positioning the device.

Police are now getting a search warrant so they can determine how many victims were videotaped and how long the camera has been in the bathroom.

A spokesperson for the bookstore has yet to comment on the incident.

Anyone who shopped at the bookstore is asked to contact detectives if they have any information relating to the investigation.
