Man Faces Criminal Charges for Stalking & Making Nude Videos of ESPN Sports Reporter

A man has been arrested for stalking and secretly making nude videos of ESPN sports reporter Erin Andrews, which he posted on the Internet.

Michael David Barrett, who was arrested on Friday at Chicago O'Hare International Airport, now faces interstate stalking charges, according to the FBI.

Barrett is accused of stalking Andrews at the hotel in Nashville where she was staying, and secretly taping her while she was nude inside her room. According to the FBI, Barrett requested to have the room next to Andrews, and drilled a peep hole large enough to snake a small camera.

Barrett allegedly made eight videos with nude footage of Andrews, seven of which were filmed at the hotel in Nashville, and later posted them on the Internet.

The criminal complaint filed with the court also states that Barrett tried to sell the videos to TMZ, one of the most popular celebrity gossip sites on the Internet.  Employees at TMZ helped the investigation by passing Barrett's information to Andrews' attorney.

Barrett is scheduled to have his first court appearance on Saturday.  If he is found guilty he could face up to five years in federal prison.

Andrews works as a sideline reporter for ESPN covering college football games.
