Scott Van Hoven, a former teacher at Paterson high school in New Jersey has pleaded not guilty to the sexual assault of a 16-year-old student at his home. The girl claims that they did engage in a sex act at his apartment more than once. The girl later contacted police in regard to this matter. As a result, Van Hoven has had his employment terminated and is being held on $200,000 bail.
