Redmond O'Neal Completes Drug Program

In Los Angeles, Redmond O'Neal completed a drug diversion program.

O'Neal's graduation from the program led to the dismissal of two drug crime cases. Both drug crime cases were felonies.  Police say that a 25 year old will remain on probation for two more years for a case in which he brought drugs to a jail facility.

On Friday, Richard F. Pintal said, "Redmond put his nose to the grindstone and completed a very vigorous drug court program. "  He also said "In the wake of that he earned the two dismissals from Judge Michael Tynan."

In January, O'Neal was jailed for a probation violation and the judge placed him on the drug diversion program.

Among the charges dismissed with a case filed after sheriff's deputies found narcotics in O'Neal's home in 2008 while his son Redmond was on probation.

If you have been charged with adrug crime, it is important that you obtain legal representation from a criminal defense attorney immediately.
