18 Year Old Arrested for Vandalism in Porterville

Porterville, California - news sources report that an 18 year old was arrested this past Tuesday.  The boy, Frederico Aceves, was arrested after he was connected to vandalism that occurred at Monache High School.  Police say that the vandalism led to $10,000 worth of damage and was discovered a day after it occurred by school officials.

Once police apprehended Aceves, he was arrested and booked for suspicion of felony vandalism.

According to Porterville police, the school incurred damage to its windows.  Graffiti was also found at several locations throughout the building and school property.

After police investigated the incident, they discovered evidence at a home on the 500 block of North Delta Street, which led to Aceves' arrest.

Aside from finding evidence tied to the vandalism, police found evidence of an indoor marijuana growing operation and placed 21 year old Luis Alceves under arrest for suspicion of cultivation of marijuana.  Police did not say if other suspects had been tied to the property crime.
