Attorney Arrested for Child Enticement

In Kansas City, a 45 year old attorney has been charged with one count of attempting to entice a minor to have sex. The lawyer, Samuel P. Logan, has also been charged with one count of receiving child pornography.
Court documents indicate that an investigator found Logan online using a Web camera to send images of himself masturbating. He thought he was sending the images to a 14 year old girl, but he actually sent the photos to the undercover investigator. The images showed Logan in an office surrounded by certificates, awards and furniture.
From June 1st until June 22nd, Logan continued to speak with the undercover officer in a sexual way. He also continued to send adult and child pornography to the officer.
If the attorney is convicted, he will be facing a minimum sentence of 10 years in prison and a fine of $250,000 for child enticement and 5 - 20 years and a $250,000 fine for child pornography.
