A Harlingen, Texas detective has been arrested for a domestic violence incident. According to police, Ricky Gonzalez lost his temper because his two teenage sons did not want to come back to Texas to live with him. Gonzalez then, allegedly, started punching cabinets and threatened to kill his wife and then himself. Authorities later found his department-issued 9mm handgun under the seat of his pickup truck, although it was not loaded.
