87-Year-Old-Woman Caught Dealing Crack

An 87-year-old Florida woman was caught selling $20 with of crack to an undercover police officer. Authorities say Ola Mae Agee "may be the oldest drug dealer in Florida's history." The grandmother was released on her own recognizance after being processed at the jail. The alleged deal was caught on videotape.

Agee has been arrest on drug charges before. In 1996, the then 73-year-old woman was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell, manufacture or deliver. She was arrested again in 1999 for cocaine possession with intent to distribute. The first arrest resulted in a two-year probation, but the charges were dropped in the second arrest.

Sergeant Ted Roy said, "Hopefully we'll quit seeing 87-year-olds selling crack. But nothing surprises us anymore."

If you have been charged with a drug-related crime, including possession with the intent to sell, it is important that you discuss your legal options with a criminal defense lawyer that has handled prior drug crime cases.
