Police Catch Robbery Suspects

When officers received a call early last week, they believed that a van had accidentally driven through the front of a store. However, they quickly determined that this was no traffic accident, but a robbery in progress.

The vehicle, which turned out to be stolen, was used to ram through the doors of a gun store in Cerritos. It appears as though the would-be robbers had not done their homework, however, as the guns were placed behind protective casings and bars, making it nearly impossible to access them in time. Despite their initial efforts at breaking into the store, the robbers were unable to retrieve any of the valuable merchandise.

Witnesses saw two to three men exit the store after realizing their mistake. Police are still searching for the men involved in this theft crime.
