Two School Teachers Accused of Having Sex, + Drugs and Alcohol, With Student

Two teachers, a male aged 31 and a female aged 32, have been accused of engaging a female student, aged 16, in sexual activities in the couple's home in Henderson, Nevada, during a school break in December 2011. The police learned of the illegal activities when the former husband of the female teacher alerted them, according to the Las Vegan Sun.

The young girl was a freshman student at Basic High School at the time of the alleged events.

The male teacher, J.S. is also accused of having sex with the student when the other teacher, B.D., was not present in the home.

During the Henderson Police investigation, it was revealed that J.S. had been accused of improprieties before – with another freshman girl that was also a student at Basic High School.

The earlier incident, occurring in 2009, included texting the student and showing her pornographic photographs. The investigation, however, did not result in criminal charges due to a lack of evidence.

J.S. was suspended from the school for 20 days, and when the suspension was over, he was transferred to Daily Elementary School to work as a physical education teacher.

The latest police report details that B.D.'s former husband contacted the police when he learned, from B.D.'s sister, that B.D. and J.S. were having three-way sexual relations with a student.

When questioned, the student denied having sex with the two teachers. Later she did admit to the encounters and explained that she was afraid of how her parents might react to the news.

While being questioned by authorities, the student referred to the pair as "Ms. D----" and "Coach".

The student met the two teachers when she attended Brown Middle School, as the pair both taught there at the same time.

The relationship between the three flourished beyond school when the student babysat for B.D.'s children and slept overnight in their Henderson home. It was during these sleepovers, during the 2011 school holiday break, that the three drank whiskey shots, smoked marijuana, and then had sex together.

In January 2012, and while B.D. was out, J.S. had sex with the student alone in the Henderson home.

According to the police report, both B.D. and J.S. denied having sex, drinking, or doing drugs with the student. Ultimately J.S. did admit to having sex with the teen.

The Clark County School District has placed both teachers on leave without pay.

Each are facing a charge of solicitation of a minor over the age of 14 for sex, a felony. J.S. also faces a charge of sexual conduct between a teacher and a student.

Both have been released after posting their bonds – J.S.'s was $60,000 and B.D.'s was $20,000. They have been ordered to return to Henderson Justice Court on October 1.
