Colorado State Patrol is investigating a fatal accident that happened on a recent Saturday morning. A Colorado Springs man was driving his late model SUV on Interstate 70 when the tragic crash happened. The 60-year-old man was travelling east just outside of Limon when he reportedly swerved to avoid pieces of shredded big rig tire. Reports say that he initially swerved into the median from the left-most lane of the highway before suddenly swerving out of the median and across all eastbound traffic lanes. His vehicle went onto the right shoulder at a high rate of speed and then flipped over several times before coming to a rest. Witnesses stopped to render aid and paramedics arrived promptly at the accident site. The man had been wearing his seat belt but was in critical condition with very severe injuries. He later succumbed to his injuries and died. Consult with a personal injury lawyer today if you have a case concerning the injury or loss of loved one in an accident that was caused by someone else's negligence or recklessness.

About Colorado Vehicle Accidents

Car, truck, bus, motorcycle and other vehicle accidents cause serious harm to drivers, passengers and pedestrians throughout the state. Many of those accidents could have been prevented had it not been for factors that come down to neglect, recklessness or carelessness. Road hazards, mechanical failures, defective tires and other physical failures can all play a part in causing a serious crash. Other causes include drunk drivers, texting while driving, driver fatigue, racing, aggressive maneuvers in traffic, etc. Whatever the specifics of your injury crash, if someone else was responsible for the wreck then he or she should be held fully liable for all damages, injuries and losses.
