Serial Bank Robber Sought in Los Angeles Area

A man dubbed the "Don't Even" bandit is being sought in connection with a series of bank robberies in the southern California region. The FBI and local law enforcement are searching for the man who has robbed at least six bank branches, including branches of Bank of America, Citibank, One West, and Bank of the West in Alhambra, Covina, Fontana, Garden Grove, Ontario, and Rosemead. The robber uses both written notes to tellers and verbal demands. The robberies began back on August 27, 2012.

According to the FBI, the man's tactics and behavior in each robbery were the same, with the use of language that was threatening to those involved. So far, no weapons have been seen in the crimes but due to the often violent character of robbery, the man is considered by the FBI to be "armed and dangerous." Bank robbers are given names such as the "Don't Even" moniker based on how they conduct themselves during a crime, the language they use, and their unique tactics. The FBI is seeking information from the public, with a description of the man, what he wears, the type of getaway car he has used, and other information relevant to his crimes.
