A man in his early forties was arrested recently for alleged domestic violence. His wife claims that he began beating her after she disciplined his daughter, her stepdaughter. In an affidavit filed by the woman, her husband, T.R., repeatedly beat her with his fists on her head, stomach, legs, etc. over twenty times. She says he also hit her in the stomach with a computer monitor. She began to pass out when T.R. tied her up with shoe laces. She came to while her husband was shaving off her eyebrows and hair with an electric shaver. He then hit her with more items in the room. She managed to free herself some time later.
The wife took refuge at a neighbor's house and had noticeable bruising and cuts. Authorities were called and T.R. was arrested while trying to hide behind a fence. He was already on probation for assaulting his wife last year. The man was released on bail the next day but then taken into custody again a few days later under suspicion of violation of his current parole. He has been charged with aggravated assault of a family member and unlawful restraint. If you have any questions about a criminal charge you should speak with a Fort Worth criminal defense attorney right away.
