Two Home Depot Shoplifting Suspects Arrested, Third Still Sought by Police

Home Depot employees in the Pasadena area were on the lookout for two suspected shoplifters after a Glendora store was reportedly stolen from. Other area stores were alerted after several high value items were allegedly taken by two male Hispanic suspects in the event that the suspects attempted the same thing. Later that day, the manager of another Home Depot store called authorities after seeing two men who matched the shoplifters' descriptions enter the store. Employees began to follow the men who had allegedly hid some tools under their shirts. The two suspects put down the tools at different locations in the store after they apparently spotted that they were being watched. The men tried to leave the store but were confronted by officers who had been called by the manager. The men ran away and police began a pursuit of the two male suspects as well as a third suspect, a woman who was allegedly driving a "getaway car". Police reports state that the woman parked the vehicle nearby and left on foot. Authorities found one of the suspects just outside a county vehicle maintenance yard and the other man inside the yard. The female suspect had not yet been located by police. Although the two men were not found with any stolen items they can still be charged with burglary since they allegedly entered the store with an intent to steal the tools ("intent to commit burglary").
