Manatee County Man Gets Arrested for Indecent Exposure

By Miller Law Firm  Jun. 28, 2011 4:21p

A thirty-six-year-old man was arrested by the Manatee County Sheriffs Office for walking in the Lakewood ranch area listening and dancing to his iPod with no clothes on. According to the man, people were driving by honking their horns, laughing and enjoying the view as they watched him going down the street.

When he was asked by the sheriffs why he was naked, he simply told them "he wanted to feel free." He explained to one deputy had no idea that he could be placed in jail for walking with no clothes on; it was discovered that he was under the influence of alcohol at the time of his arrest.
