22 Year Old Convicted for Gang Shooting

In Long Beach, I gang member has been convicted of two murders after eight 2008 attack on a group of teenagers that were attending a birthday party in a Los Angeles suburb.

According to the Long Beach Press-Telegram, 22-year-old Jonzel Stringer was also convicted this week of 46 counts of attempted murder.

Police told the new source that dozens of teens were in the line of fire when Stringer and another suspect show a packed Masonic temple hall in the city of Long Beach.  During the shootings, a 15-year-old boy and a 17-year-old died.

Prosecutors allege that Stringer was punched in the face during a party by gang rivals.  Then, he and his accomplice, Izac McCloud, opened fire on the party goers.  Last week, McCloud was convicted of murder.
