Adrian Pasdar Sentenced for DUI Offense

This week, "Heroes" star Adrian Pasdar pled no contest to misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence.  Last January, Pasdar was arrested by police after he was caught speeding and weaving in and out of traffic lanes while driving on a Los Angeles freeway.

Pasdar, who is married to Dixie Chicks singer Natalie Maines, was sentenced with 36 months of probation.  He was also ordered to pay $395 in fines and must complete an educational alcohol program as well as attend ten AA meetings.

During his DUI stop, Pasdar refused to submit to a breath test.  However, due to his deal with prosecutors, his second charge was dropped.

People that have been charged with driving under the influence should always take their charges seriously as they could wind up facing severe legal penalties.  In order to fight DUI charges and prevent conviction, people should always retain the services of a criminal defense lawyer.
