Latwan Weathington Wanted In Connection With Armed Robbery And Shooting

Latwan Weathington, recently released from prison, is wanted again by authorities in connection with a robbery and shooting incident at a mobil home park in Gainesville, GA.

The victim, 32-year-old Kevin Hicks, was found shot in the leg after being robbed. He was transported to the Northwest Georgia Medical Center for the non-life threatening injury. According to the police, the victim and alleged shooter knew each other.  Allegedly, Weahtington pulled a small handgun and demanded money from the victim.  He then allegedly struck the victim, shot him in the leg and robbed him of an undisclosed amount of money.  

The warrants issued against Weathington are for armed robbery, aggravated assault, aggravated battery and possession of a gun by a convicted felon.  Weathington was released from prison on March 15th after serving time for similar charges.
