Man Charged with Landlord’s Assault

A man in the Pittsfield, Utah area has been charged with assault of an elderly person in relation to an argument with his landlord. Jethro J. Davis pleaded not guilty to one count of assault and battery on a person over the age of 60. The landlord claims that Davis attacked him after he slipped a weekly rent notice under the door of his apartment. Reportedly, Davis grabbed the landlord by his shirt and shoulder and shook him back and forth. He also allegedly pushed him twice to the floor.
